I started playing guitar and bass in rock bands at age 14. In high school it was blues and R&B then a jazz band in college. During an extended mid-life moment I added organ, trumpet, trombone, drums, and started driving a convertible. My music expanded to include Afro-beat, Blue Grass, Country, Gospel, Latin, and Reggae/Ska bands. I’ve really enjoyed playing music outside especially at several Plaza Art Fairs, Spirit Festivals, and Reggae Festivals. I have played in secular and non-secular bands always thanking God for the gift of music in my life. Playing in Green Shoebox Band has been almost too much fun.
